Moving into the Cloud<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.15″ text_font=”Open Sans||||||||” text_font_size=”16px” text_line_height=”1.8em” custom_padding=”7%||” locked=”off” inline_fonts=”Open Sans” global_colors_info=”{}”]Up until 2016, an accounting firm was managing Bee\u2019s finances on the Sage on-premise enterprise resource planning (ERP) platform. Wanting to bring that aspect of its operations in-house, Bee began looking for a modern, cloud-based ERP and an implementation partner to work with. <\/span> <\/span>\n\n\u201cWe had just hired an internal finance manager, and had to decide which system to implement from the ground-up,\u201d says Fayolle, who was hoping for a fairly seamless data migration from the on-premise platform to a cloud-based option. Fayolle says that migrating the company\u2019s data from Sage and into NetSuite was the \u201ctrickiest part\u201d of the implementation process, but adds that ERP Success Partners helped ensure a smooth transition.<\/span> <\/span>\n\n\u201cWe were worried about the migration, but it went very well,\u201d says Fayolle, whose team also received the training it needed to be able to get up and running quickly on NetSuite. With a 360-view of its finances, the company can easily review historical data, generate reports, leverage data analytics, and use all of that intelligence for good decision-making. <\/span> <\/span>\n\nFayolle also likes the improved report quality that NetSuite provides. \u201cFour years ago when we needed an audit report for our accountants, the quality just wasn\u2019t very good,\u201d he explains. \u201cWe couldn\u2019t even tailor our reports.\u201d<\/span> <\/span>\n\nFast-forward to today, and Bee not only has tailored reports to use as benchmarks, but it also has clear key performance indicators (KPIs) to work with.
