Solutions Consultant

Job Responsibilities

  • Understand the customer base and their requirements and design relevant solutions
  • Understand NetSuite functionality/capabilities and how they can be combined to address customer requirements
  • Assist the sales team by creating solution proposals/requests for proposal
  • Engage with a broad range of contacts within customer organizations to determine the most appropriate technology solution that meets the needs of the customer
  • Pro-actively identify new opportunities to deploy solutions within the customer’s environment
  • Co-ordinate customer responses to ensure timely deliverable of required collateral
  • Conduct NetSuite Demos.
  • Ability to work as a single point of contact for business and customer​
  • Ability to build strong internal & external relationships with key stakeholders​
  • Ability to identify, influence and negotiate with key decision-makers
  • Responds to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
  • Maintains product knowledge and keeps up to date on new functionality.
  • Coordinate Knowledge Transfer between the Sales, Product and Professional Services team
  • Participate in Kickoff Meeting
  • Understand the technological landscape of product, solutions available to fit the business need
  • Assist the Sales team in conducting Qualification Sessions
  • Assist the Professional Service team in Discovery Sessions

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years in Sales preferably NetSuite or similar ERP
  • Proven track record of sales
  • NetSuite Knowledge and experience ( highly desired )
  • In-depth working knowledge of SaaS


  • Exceptional verbal and written communication capabilities, including the ability to effectively communicate with both business/functional and highly technical individuals
  • Effective problem-solving capabilities
  • Solid “techno-functional” ability to work hands-on with technology and demonstrate our product, as well as understand and communicate business objectives
  • Ability to adjust approach and communication style based on personalities and goals of customers/stakeholders
  • Ability to present effectively, command attention, explain proposed solutions, and answer detailed questions from across the spectrum
  • Problem-solving, analytical thinking and decision making​
